STREAM: BAS RELEASES 2ND ALBUM “TOO HIGH TO RIOT”

Clashing on the same release date as Kendrick Lamar’s untitled unmastered, unknowingly. Fiends frontrunner “Bas” releases his highly anticipated album Too High To Riot through the Dreamville/Interscope imprint. I’m excited to take a listen to this project because I was thoroughly impressed with Last Winter, I love what I heard. Last Winter presented Bas to me as a seasoned, traveled and growing artist with a strong vision. Some could look at Bas as simply J.Cole’s protege but if you look and listen deeper, Bas is simply in a lane of his own and is not the one to be compared. From his movement, his FIENDS brand, lyrics and production, Bas is a colorful seasoned artist who is proven to hold his own and I am happy for his release. Too High To Riot features production from Ron Gilmore, Sounwave, Ogee Handz and DikC. “Too High to Riot” features lead singles “Methylone”, “Night Job” feat. J.Cole, Matches feat. The Hics, Clouds Never Get Old and “Housewives”
