Lord Set Me Free

Episode Review

Blue Collar Hustle’s finale episode, “Lord Set Me Free” brings season one to a fulfilling closing.

Through the season, the team stood together to make the impossible possible.

The show is created and written by Alonge Hawes. Hawes also stars as the main character “Ajani Garvey”.

Ajani, the new manager at work finds himself sticking to his guns and not yielding to the boss’ demands. Ajani’s goal of molding his co-workers into black leaders and taking hold of their own destiny comes into effect in the finale.

The faith he displayed in Que-Brick’s music fueled his commitment in helping launch his friend’s career.

Although, the district manager leaves Ajani with a decision to face about him delivering better results at work, the release of Que Brick’s album proves that the team’s investment paid off.

From the album art to the mixing and mastering, the team of 4 brothers came together to deliver “The Souldier Story” to the world.
