BLUE COLLAR HUSTLE: NUMBER 1 ON SEEKA TV
It seems as though the hustle has paid off as the latest chapter in Alonge Hawes’s critically acclaimed web series has premiered to strong enough ratings to reach number one as Seeka.TV’s highest viewed series.
The second season premiered in early October as a Seeka.TV exclusive, more than a year after the first season concluded, with 5 of its 10 produced episodes initially available. Two more episodes were made available on the streaming platform in early November, with the final three scheduled to premiere before the end of the month.
The series, which is created, written, executive produced, co-directed and stars Hawes; follows four young men living in Stone Mountain, Ga. Who look to start their own independent record label and make their mark within the Atlanta music scene. The series has received numerous awards and accolades, most recently being awarded the Best Returning Web Series trophy at the Minnesota WebFest. Blue Collar Hustle co-stars Quentin Williams as Quan Banneker, Roberto Cruz as Jose Torres, Shani Hawes as Asha Luna, Tijuana Agnew as Anaya Bassett, and Howard Woodburn as Anthony Lee. Jairus Burks serves as Cinematographer and Co-Director. It is produced by Jamal Mcclendon, Rodderick Fedd, Shani Hawes, Quentin Williams, and Roberto Cruz.
