At the jumpstart of his career, artist JeRonelle is paving the way for himself. Declaring his dub as an independent R&B/Soul artist, he is releasing his new EP entitled “Finally”. It features a ray of different tempos and ballads all showcasing JeRonelle’s styles and flows.
JeRonelle is hailing from a place many don’t here about often. But now, it’s safe to say that Omaha, Nebraska has served its place on the map. JeRonelle continues to grow and develope his craft, songwriting, and recording in his hometown. After graduating as a Summa Cum Lade graduate from Clark Atlanta University, the artist is now ready to touch base with the next chapter in his life: a successful recording artist.
JeRonelle took a peace break in 2015 before he came back to work. Now, he has something for us all to hear. “Finally” is JeRonelle’s manifesto. This 7-track EP is fresh, as our soul artist is barely dropping his first project.
Imagine an urban mixture of D’Angelo’s “Brown Sugar” album mixed with a little of Musiq Soulchilds “Aijuswanaseing”. Very few artists hold on to the old sound of neosoul like JeRonelle does in this EP. Songs like “Rock With You” and “Don’t Give Up on Love” help carry the theme around neosoul: empathy and of course, soul. He also touches base with social issues in his track “Headlines (Justice For Us)” about the plague against police brutality . The EP itself shows how concious Je is about himself and his community. There are a few guest appearances on this project, features from artists Terayle, Dee Ace, and Ola & Roderic. They help give rise to what JeRonelle has to say.
Without a doubt, JeRonelle is well on his way to accomplishments. He’s dedicated with soul and delivery. You can find JeRonelle on his website, Soundcloud and Twitter. Be sure to keep up with his journey and be apart of it by checking out “Finally”.
