Oklahoma City native Mario Dillard has worked with the likes of Sha Sha Jones, Far East movement and Eric Bellinger. His name may sound new to some but familiar to the seasoned artists in the music industry. Mario “Rio” Dillard is an accomplished singer/songwriter and engineer who is now taking a deeper focus into his solo career.
Today, the young talent returns to music with a new track “Problems.” The track details where Rio’s head has been at, how he’s grown as a man and not forgetting where he started. “Everywhere I go, I tell the Lord, keep the devil off my back” he sings. Being a talented black male in America, can bring trials and temptation.
Mario Dillard, an RnB crooner who is creating his own lane through honest subject matters, attractive harmonies and truthful lyrics. “This shit gets crazy, when you tryna chase ya dreams on the daily, like the whole world against you, they don’t even get the vision, looking through a different filter.” Speaking on testaments that dream chasers can relate to with “Problems”, Rio is defining himself as a rising talent to watch out for in 2016.
