“They call me el captain.”

I have to salute Lulu Be. for her new single Rude Tings. When I listen to Rude Tings, I just picture her making the song by mixing a pot with a lot of ingredients. “I feel that this track really embodies who I am as a first generation Ethiopian girl from Chicago. It has a bit of everything. A bit of afrobeats, a bit of juke, and a lot of bit uh bars.”

With all of these different aspects of music, this song should be on your playlist. Once the song starts, it gives you a bit of an energy boost. (Definitely when you have to finish a 10 paper that is due in the morning.) With the lyrics and beats you might just get out of your chair to dance to the song.

“So smooth I’m a pendulum.”

Her smooth flow and electric vibe that she put in this song is quite different because you never expect those two aspects to actually work together very well, or even at all.

“I be da queen of da pack, I be da ting wit da glo.”

Lulu Be. is a studio manager at Classick Studios in Chicago, where she and producer Laner collaborated to make this piece of art.  Being a studio manager but having the ability to go into the studio and put in work, that’s just shows how beast she is.

As a studio manager of Classick Studios she is responsible to help artists like Jay2AintShit, Smino, and Ravyn Lenae.

Being able to juggle her studios manager duties and her music is noteworthy.
