Toronto sensation PARTYNEXTDOOR has released his sophomore studio album P3. Being one of the first artist signed to Drake’s OVO sound label, the persona has emulated a combination of hip-hop and alternative R&B for everyone to vibe with.

PARTYNEXTDOOR, or PND, is a name we’re all too familiar with. He peaked his success after being featured on Drake’s blog in 2013. The release of his first mixtape self titled PARTYNEXTDOOR became the first page to his story. Tracks like “Break From Toronto” and “Wus Good/ Curious” gave us a reason to fall in love with the Canadian crooner. Since then, he echoes moody and R&B sounds on all of his work.

Since the release of his first album PARTYNEXTDOOR 2, he has been enhancing his sound and songwriting abilities. It’s no wonder why PARTYNEXTDOOR 3 is going to one of the top R&B albums this year, competing with Drake’s “Views”.

imagePND tweeted before releasing “P3” that his was anxious about sharing the album. However, it’s all to hard to tell once the music touches your ears. It’s all to well. The 16 track album has only one guest feature, Drake, who appears on “Come and See Me”, released earlier this year. P3 hosts dancehall and R&B vibes throughout the entire album. Perfect for a late night in, or a night time drive to ease the mind. With just a day of being released, fans are giving all praise to P3, as it should.

It took nearly two years to finish the production of P3, but PARTYNEXTDOOR continues to remain on his toes. This won’t be the last we hear from the OVO artist. As a songwriter to his name, PND is rumored to be working with artist Jeremih on a project expected to be released later on this year.

Experience the OVO wave and listen to “P3” above.
