Rapper Que-Brick releases his newest project next week. Before that happens, he decided to bless fans with an exciting sneak peek of the official cover art and track listing. The new album, titled “God I’m Tryin”, includes 13 songs. With titles such as “Pearly Gates”, “Judaz”, and “Temptation”, one could be led to believe that Que-Brick might be taking his artistry in a decidedly more spiritual direction.
It turns out that assumption isn’t far from reality as the man born Quentin Williams states in his own words:
“2017 has been a tough year for me. As my professional ambitions rise, it seems like my personal life has taken a downward spiral. I wanted this piece of art to show a mood of joy and sorrow because we as human beings experience both in such extremes that today it feels like an addiction. You are either so high that the clouds are your palace or so low that the ground is your own personal Hell. The Bible states that man was presented 10 commandments with which to live a life of purity, well I’m adding three more to the list. These 13 songs represent my commandments, my heart, my very soul.”
The album is primarily produced by Lavish Jax, with more production done by Pinnacle, Bobby Williams, and Decicco. It releases on Friday, September 29th via The League Music Group.
