Buffalo artist and musician Saint Opal has set the tone and caliber high with her monstrous debut of new project “Ox Blood.” From the intro track “mara mara” it is easy set that she is eclectic, driven and serving her audience with a summer taste to enjoy.
Ox Blood was release via burgeoning brand and collective Haute La Vie Since 2166. The EP was recorded at Outer Limit Recording Studio in Buffalo, NY, was produced by YLXR and mixed by Ken Rutkowski.
Though this is her first official release as an artist, Saint Opal has already proven herself as a creative force to be reckoned with. In 2015, she held an opening slot on Raury’s Crystal Express Tour which garnered attention from audiences in major cities like Toronto, Boston and more. With a unique brand of dark, electronically influenced neo-soul and a synesthete’s eye for color as well as fashion, Saint Opal leads with poetic poise and a strong visual presence. The result is a genuine, visceral experience that can be felt upon listening or watching. Saint Opal is slated to perform on the Anti-Venue Tour this summer.
