During the Revolt Music Conference in South Beach Miami, CAQ Records sat down with actor/rapper William Alexander.
My name is William Alexander. I am an actor, I’m also an artist. I don’t love either or more than the other. When I’m in front of the camera and I’m playing a certain role, I’m in love with my craft.
When I’m in the studio dropping a verse, I’m in love with my craft. I don’t know which one is going to give me the big paycheck first, but I’m hopeful.
I’m working on a production right now, I can’t give too much information on it, but it’s got some pretty big names in it.
What production have you gained the most recognition from?
YouTube, it’s a web series called “Dear Future Wife”, which gave me a lot of buzz locally. I’ve been to a few places, where people recognize me and know who I am.
It’s very humbling when people recognize you for your craft, it’s like your high.
I did an independent film called “True Colors”, directed by Chris Calixte.
That was pretty fun and hard with working on that, it was straight 12 hour days.
Musically, I’m working on a mixtape right now and I’m going to be dropping some new music soon. I might even drop a new song tonight.
